Pictures portray the person, portraits tell a story. And within that story is art. Not every portrait needs to show the face. Sometimes the most precious of images is the one that shows a moment that will never be there again, the soft roundness of a newborn's toes that so soon will lengthen and lean out to first toddle then run. A moment captured becomes art for the heart.
