Green Wedding Friday - Earth Friendly Favors
Look what I found at Beau-Coup!I love the idea of filling the air with the fragrance of lavender as an alternative to throwing rice, and who wouldn't love a bees wax candle or the anticipation of growing plants. Decorate your table with mini palms or give the promise to come of a tin of flower seeds. Lovely ways to remember your wedding!

I'm Sorry To Say I Don't Accept All Comments Very Well.
Just a brief note to let you know that I have changed my settings for comments on this blog. In order to comment you will now be required to be a registered user.
I feel badly about this...I want to be able to share with all of you, and comments are crucial to open communication. But recently, I have had a slew of anonymous comments that are spam, ranging from selling sex toys and enhancement drugs, financial offers, and even something in Russian that I have no clue WHAT it says...I've also had an excited young photographer who was trying to learn. For you, young photographer, I hope you see this and register to continue to participate.
I just don't want to deal with the spam anymore. It's tiring and not conducive to my creativity. I'd rather spend time shooting or talking to you about shooting than have to read through piles of junk. Thanks for understanding.

Winning!
Isn't it fun to win? Michelle and Clint were at a bridal fair just a month before their wedding when the found themselves the winners of a big doorprize, A Sedona Road Trip, through our studio. We went out for an afternoon after the wedding for a combination portrait, using the clothes they wore when they got engaged and finishing with a trash the dress session in Michelle's gorgeous wedding gown.
I love giving the experience of beautiful photography. Last month on Facebook we had our annual Big December Giveaway with a prize every weekday and we have quite a few people who won portrait sessions ;-D. Join the fan page for your chance to win. This month we are doing a drawing for movie tickets, who knows what we'll do next month. It's the place to be for member only discounts, contests and other special offers. Hope to see you there soon.

Regan and Myk Get Married!
18 miles north of Flagstaff, on the road to the Grand Canyon stands a small chapel dedicated to the Holy Dove. It's a wayfarer's chapel, meaning that it is open all the time to give refuge to those on the road in need of physical or spiritual respite. It was in this simple country church that Regan and Myk got married.
Officiant Mike Gallant shoveled a small path through three feet of snow to open the Chapel and then married regan and Myk in front of their closest friends and family. We had such a wonderful time playing the snow with this beautiful couple!
