A Message about Bogey

Hello Friends ~

Jeff and I wanted to let you know that this weekend we sent Bogey on his next adventure. He lived with Lymphoma for about 7 weeks before needing to go on the next stage of his journey.

Each of you throughout the years that gave him a pat on the back, a hug, threw a ball...you gave him a bit of joy that he passed on to the next person he encountered...even now he is wagging his tail and smiling at the thought of you.

To all of you who have been our support system through the last 8 weeks thank you. Every bit gave us a moment of peace that we were able to extend back to Bo.

Please know that he did not suffer, the day before was actually one of the most high energy and happy days he had during chemo and even to the end he was wagging his tail and spreading his very special brand of love to everyone he could.

We're choosing to celebrate his life and hope you will, too. Your love helped shape the remarkable dog that he was.

In appreciation and love

Marcia and Jeff
(and Zuri, too)

My Photo in Arizona Bride magazine!

I'm so pleased...my bride Danielle did such a beautiful job planning her wedding that one of her images was used in the current issue of Arizona Bride. Here is the proof the editor sent me.

My Contest on Facebook and How You Can Win

I had so much fun running our first contest on our studio page on facebook! I will be sending out as many of the prizes as possible over this week and next. If you are a winner, please do contact me to arrange pick-up or mailing of your prize.

The love is going to just keep pouring out all year...I've decided that I would like to show my appreciation more often, so I am going to run more contests, maybe even once a month! So, here's the deal. If you are a facebook studio page fan or a newsletter subscriber, you get one chance for each contest. Both? you get two chances. Want more? each person you refer who joins either the newsletter or studio page (you have to tell me you did it) throws your name in the hat once again.

You can find the newsletter sign-up on our website (on the contact page) and by scrolling down to the bottom of this blog...I am also going to figure out if I can put a sign -up section on my facebook profile and our studio page which is Marcia The Art of Photography on FB.

Hope to see you win soon with Marcia The Art of Photography!

BTW, Goal #52 Run A contest on Facebook, check ;-)
